The hotly-anticipated iPhone 12 Pro is likely to come with a ProMotion display that delivers an impressive refresh rate of 120Hz, YouTube channel EverythingApplePro suggests in its recently posted video.
In addition to that, the iPhone 12 Pro is said to boast radically enhanced Face ID along with a considerably improved camera. The long-rumored iPhone dubbed the iPhone 12 is expected to offer three tiers of varying features.
If the report is anything to go by, the iPhone 12 Pro will sport a 6.1-inch screen that would comprise the higher-refresh rate ProMotion display. The larger model bearing the Pro Max moniker will feature a mammoth 6.7-inch screen and feature a higher refresh rate like its smaller sibling. The base iPhone 12, on the other hand, would feature a 60Hz display.
Smartphones usually offer 60 frames per second or 60Hz refresh rate, but other phones including the Galaxy S20 and the OnePlus 8 Pro deliver a refresh rate of 120Hz. A phone offering higher refresh rate makes scrolling through images, apps and web pages look relatively smoother and faster.
The enhancements slated to be incorporated in the Face ID feature will reportedly support a wider field of view, meaning, the device can be unlocked from multiple angles. As far as the optics department is concerned, the camera is said to have improved LIDAR which expedites autofocus and enhances image stabilization. Aside from that, the phone is expected to receive a telephoto lens with improved magnification. Apple has not divulged details about their names, but CNET suggests they are likely to be called iPhone 12, 12 Pro, and 12 Max. You can watch the video below:
