Infinix Hot 9 Series Slated To Hit The Indian Store Shelves On May 29

Touted as one of India’s most reliable e-tailers, Flipkart has announced that the Infinix Hot 9 series comprising the Infinix Hot 9 and Infinix Hot 9 Pro smartphones is slated to hit the store shelves in the country on May 29.

On May 20, Infinix took to its social media accounts to reveal that Flipkart will be spilling the beans on the brand’s new phones on Saturday. Staying true to the promise, the popular e-tailer has divulged details about when can people expect to see Infinix Hot 9 phones. As if that weren’t enough, Flipkart even allowed them to catch a glimpse of the Infinix Hot 9 Pro phone.

The Flipkart homepage is currently sporting a banner that reads Infinix Hot 9 series will be unveiled on at noon on May 29. The hotly-anticipated lineup is expected to include two variants including the Infinix Hot 9 and it’s Pro sibling. The Infinix Hot 9 is expected to be the same model that was unveiled in Indonesia earlier this year, while the Pro model is likely to be an updated version of the same device.

The teaser page on Flipkart shows an image of the Infinix Hot 9 Pro, confirming a quad-camera setup and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone adopts a hole-punch design with the camera cut-out visible on the top-left corner of the screen.

At the bottom-center, we can see the DTS Audio branding. In the optics department, the device houses a 48MP camera. It is worth mentioning here that the Infinix Hot 9 model which was launched in Indonesia came with a 16MP camera at the back, meaning, the phone shown in the picture on Flipkart could be the Hot 9 Pro. The Infinix Hot 9, on the other hand, sports a 6.6-inch IPS HD+ LCD display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A25 SoC. It will ship with 4GB of RAM and will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery. On the photography front, the phone will feature an 8MP selfie camera and a quad-camera module at the back.
