Huawei Watch GT 2e Announced in India for INR11,990 ($160)

    Huawei have announced the Huawei Watch GT 2e, a sporty version of the Watch GT 2, in India. It was announced back in March during the launch of the Huawei P40 series and is already on sale in Europe.

    The Watch GT 2e is powered by the Kirin A1 SoC, and it has a 1.39″ color AMOLED touch display with a 454×454 resolution. There’s also 4GB of internal storage onboard.

    The Watch GT 2e comes with in-built GPS and SpO2 and heart rate monitoring. The smartwatch can track your sleep and 15 different sports activities and is water-resistant up to 50 meters.

    The Watch GT2e boasts 2 weeks of battery life thanks to the in-house Kirin A1 chipset. If you’re using GPS tracking for exercises, the watch can last a total of 30 hours.

    It’s priced at INR11,990 ($160) and will be up for pre-orders from May 15 on and Flipkart with three color options – Graphite Black, Lava Red, and Mint Green.

    Those who pre-book the Watch GT 2e on between May 15 and May 21 will get the Huawei AM61 Bluetooth Earphones worth INR3,990 ($53/€49) for free, and those who prefer Flipkart can get it for INR1.
