Huawei launched the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition in Germany a couple of days ago, but now the semi-new device has also been launched in UK for all to purchase. It comes with full suite of Google Services, and Huawei have even tacked on their App Gallery and services too.
For the uninformed, the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition is essentially a way for Huawei to bypass the ban that prevents them from using GMS on their devices. This is because the Huawei P30 Pro still has the rights to use Google Services, even if Huawei can’t get GMS certification for new phone models.
The P30 Pro New Edition still has the same Kirin 980 octa-core processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage as the original. Other than the new Silver Frost color, there are no differences in hardware between the New Edition and the original P30 Pro.
The device is set to go on sale in the UK on June 3 and is priced at £700, and comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage as the standard. Huawei also bundles a free Watch GT 2e smartwatch with each order until June 30, making it a fairly decent deal.
