Huawei Nova 8 series is all set to go official on December 23 in the Chinese market but before it arrives, the series’ promotional images have made it to the Internet. Last time we got a glimpse about its internals and now we have the phone uncovered, thanks to the promotional posters.
While we had our attention in the leak spree, these two images were the topic of discussion in the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. The first image shows a poster revealing the phone’s design and some of its key highlights. The second picture has the brand ambassador holding either one of the Nova 8 or Nova 8 Pro smartphone.

Talking about the design, the smartphone has a new rear camera module holding four sensors. It has quad cameras placed vertically at the back and along with it is the LED flash unit. At the front, it has a large punch-hole display with slightly curved sides. It equips dual front cameras placed a the top left side of the screen.
The poster confirms that the smartphone has a 120Hz refresh rate panel. It also has the support for 66W fast charging technology and comes with a Vlog Mode. The Vlog Mode will let users record video from both the front and back cameras at the same time. The posters also confirm the two fancy colorways of the smartphone.

Additionally, the device’s camera setup has been revealed by a Twitter user, it is said to have a 64MP quad-rear camera system. The primary lens will be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, another 2-megapixel tertiary lens, and the last 2-megapixel unit. The last two units are expected to be a depth and a macro sensor.
Earlier, the tipster Digital Chat Station confirmed that the series will have the same chipset as the predecessor Nova 7 series. It means the Huawei fans will get the same taste of the 7nm based Kirin 985 SoC. The primary reason for it is the US ban as the company has no option rather than to stock the old chips and use it in some other devices.

While the series hit the floors on the 23rd of December, the pricing has already been tipped. It is said to start at 3,000 yuan which is roughly $458 and will be only available in the Chinese market.
