Huawei on Wednesday launched the all-new MatePad 5G 10.4 in the Chinese market with specs such as Kirin 820 chipset, a massive battery, and Harmon Kardon powered speakers. The tablet also comes with a stylus pen and has two standard colors. Let’s take a look at the details.
The Huawei MatePad 5G 10.4 comes in a sole variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage priced at CNY 3,199(~$473). As said above, there are two colors – Night Ash and Fritillary White. The laptop is already available for pre-order and will go on sale from September 23 in the country.

As the name suggests, the tablet device comes in 10.4-inch screen size. It is an IPS LCD panel display with a pixel resolution of 2000 x 1200. It has a blue light certification of TUV Rheinland and comes with a pixel density of 225ppi.

Generally, cameras are not highlighted in a tablet device but Huawei has fitted a single 8-megapixel camera at the rear and another 8-megapixel single camera at the front. The tablet fuels power from the HiSilicon Kirin 820 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The storage is expandable via a microSD card up to 512GB.

It packs a 7,250mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging support. Fast charging is something that is standard in most of the budget Huawei tablets and smartphones. It comes with a Stylus Pen support for quick note-taking and productivity. There are four speakers powered by Harmon Kardon. It is a supports full-fledged 5G and has Wi-Fi 6 on board.
