Huawei Enjoy Z 5G leaks, debuts May 24

Huawei‘s budget line-up of Enjoy series devices is going to get a new device added to its ranks soon in the form of the Huawei Enjoy Z 5G. The company teased the upcoming device on their online store, with a poster showcasing the device’s design from the side, and nothing else.

Now while it’s pretty exciting to see a sudden smartphone announcement like this, we’d recommend tempering your expectations. The Enjoy series devices have always been mid-to-low end devices, and they’ve never really wowed in any way when it comes to specs and such. What is exciting however are the prospects of an affordable 5G device.

Most rumours so far point towards the Enjoy Z 5G having a MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset, though it’s also possible we’ll see a Kirin chipset in there. We’re definitely hoping to see a MediaTek Dimensity chip though, we’re eager to finally find out how it performs.

There’s really not much else to say about the Huawei Enjoy Z 5G for now. Outside of the side of the device, all we have to go off of are rumors and the name. We still find Huawei taking the initiative to break into the budget 5G market ahead of Redmi and Realme interesting, and we’re looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
