The HTC Wildfire E2 was seen on the Google Play Console earlier last month, and we’ve been waiting for the device to launch since then. Much to our surprise, the device has gone on sale in Russia before even its official announcement.
The device features fairly low-end specs all around it. It’s powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, along with a fairly decent 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There’s also a microSD card expansion slot.
Over on the back of the device we have dual camera setup comprised of a 16MP f/2.2 primary shooter an a 2MP dept sensor. Over on the front meanwhile, we have an 8MP selfie shooter.
Keeping things running is a decently sized 4,000mAh battery, and it charges through a USB-C port which is excellent to see. As for the size of the device, its dimensions are 158.4 x 75.9 x 8.95 mm, and it weighs 173.5g.
We’re not even sure if the HTC Wildfire E2 is going to get an official launch at all at this point, it’s an entry-level device after all. In Russia, the device costs RUB 8,760, which is roughly about $120.
