HTC has launched two new smartphones in the Taiwanese market. The HTC U20 5G and HTC Desire 20 Pro are two new handsets from the company that pushes HTC’s smartphone lineup. We have already covered the details of the HTC Desire 20 Pro smartphone and now we are taking a look at the mid-range HTC U20 5G smartphone.
HTC U20 5G Smartphone Details
The U20 5G is the first 5G smartphone from HTC that comes in the mid-range segment. The 5G connectivity is possible due to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card.
It sports a mammoth 6.8-inch hole-punch display with an FHD+ resolution. It is an LCD panel with thin bezels. Regarding the cameras, it features the same setup as its sibling Desire 20 Pro.
There is a Quad-camera array consisting of a 48-megapixel primary camera. It is joined by a 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, third 2-megapixel macro lens, and the last 2-megapixel depth-sensing unit. There is a 32-megapixel selfie camera at the front.
It has a 5,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support that is said to juice up the device rapidly. The battery can be charged via the USB Type-C port at the bottom and it can also be used for data transfers. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and software-based face unlock for security.
Just like the Desire 20 Pro, the pricing of the U20 5G smartphone isn’t revealed. Once, the pricing details are outed, we’ll update the article.
