HP launched its Ryzen powered War X laptop Notebook at an event in China. The all-new HP War X comes with up to Ryzen 7 Pro processor, multiple sizes, and 16GB of RAM.

The HP War X is inspired by the Star Wars series and comes in three sizes – 13-inch, 14-inch, and a 15-inch display. The lower-end model has an FHD panel with 100 percent sRGB color gamut and the top model has 4K display. The screen has 400 nits of brightness and has a thin side and top bezel with a considerable amount of bezel at the bottom.

The top model is powered by the Ryzen 7 Pro-4750U processor that has dedicated graphics and the lower-end model comes with Ryzen 5 Pro 4650U which also has Ryzen’s dedicated graphics. There is a 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD.
It has a full-sized keyboard but does not have a dedicated Number Pad rather the multi-function keys can be used as number keys. There is a large trackpad and has multiple ports. The laptop boots Windows 10 and has some of HP’s pre-installed applications.

The pricing of the Ryzen 5 Pro model is yet to learn but the Ryzen 7 Pro variant’s pricing is out. The 13-inch model comes at a price tag of RMB 4,999(~$722), the 14-inch model will cost you RMB 5,099(~$736), and the large 15-inch model is priced at RMB 5,299(~$765). It will go on sale starting August 31 via JD.com.
