While the Honor Play 4 Pro has not officially been unveiled, it has still arrived on the Chinese store JD.com. Earlier, we saw some of its retail and promo images and now the smartphone’s box packaging has been outed.
To recall, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launched the Honor Play smartphone two years back and since then it has been a decent hit at least in its home town China. Now, the company is all set to bring the Honor Play 4 Pro smartphone in the country. The latest box packaging gives us a closer look at the smartphone and sheds some light on its features.
The image we see here was listed alongside the other images on the JD.com and it shows the minimal White-colored box. There is the smartphone’s branding along with the 5G branding at the top. It affirms that the smartphone will debut with 5G connectivity.
Well, we kind-off already knew this as the smartphone was previously tipped to come with Kirin 990 chipset that supports full-fledged 5G. Moving back to the retail box and device. The smartphone’s rear panel has also been spotted again but this time we have a clear look at it.
The Honor Play 4 Pro will come with a massive dual-hole punch display. It will be a pill-shaped camera setup with overall narrow bezels. At the rear, we see a design embossed that lures us and along with it there’s an Honor branding at the bottom.
It evidently will come with a great set of cameras, here we see dual-rear cameras consisting of a 40-megapixel Sony IMX600y primary senor. It is accompanied by another lens but the listing doesn’t point out the details of the sensor.
Other than this, it will house a bigger battery with 40W fast charging support. It will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and software-based Face unlock as security.
The Honor Play 4 Pro is touted to debut at a CNY 3,000 or $420 price tag and should launch in the next couple of months.
