Honor has officially launched its entry-level smartphone in the Indian market. The all-new Honor 9S was first launched in China and Russia, now, the device has made its way in India at even affordable pricing.
The Honor 9S is priced at ₹5,999(~$80) for the sole variant with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It is available in three color variants – Red, Black, and Blue. The first sale will begin from August 6 via Flipkart shopping site.

Honor 9S Smartphone Specifications
The Honor 9S comes with a compact form factor and is expected to compete with the likes of Xiaomi and Realme. It has a 5.45-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Even though the aspect ratio is a bit modern the bezels are thicker than the competition.
It rocks a square camera module comprising of a single 8-megapixel primary lens that sits alongside the single-tone LED flash. It has an 8-megapixel selfie camera placed beside the earpiece and sensors. The smartphone draws power from the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. It also has a MicroSD card slot for additional storage.
The device is backed up by a 3,020mAh battery without any sort of fast charging support. Being an entry-level smartphone, it misses on a capacitive fingerprint scanner but users can use Face Unlock for securing the device. It runs on Android 10 out of the box and has Honor’s custom UI on top of it.
