Google has officially unveiled the much-awaited Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G at a global online event. The all-new smartphones come powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC and feature full-fledged 5G support. The Pixel 5 is a much more premium handset as it offers a high refresh rate screen, better cameras, and more RAM.

The Google Pixel 5 comes with a modern bezel-less design featuring a 6.0-inch punch-hole display. It has a resolution of Full-HD+ and a refresh rate of 90Hz. There is a single camera at the front and a triple camera setup at the rear.
It is a square-shaped camera module with a 12.2-megapixel main lens, there’s another sensor with AI boosted capabilities and third 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle unit with an aperture of f/2.2. The rear camera can record 4K videos at 60 frames per second.
At the helm, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is backed up by a 4,080mAh battery with an 18W fast charging support. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and has IP68 water and dust resistance rating.
In terms of the pricing, the Google Pixel 5 is priced at $700/EUR 630/Pound 599 for the sole 8GB + 128GB variant. It has Just Black and Sorta Sage color variants and the first sale is scheduled for October 29 in the US. Interestingly, those who pre-order the phone before October 14 in the following regions – the UK, France, Germany, and Ireland will get a free pair of Bose QC 35 II headphones.
