Google announced the Pixel 4a last month in the global market and it is arriving in India too. The officials at Google have confirmed the launch date of the 4G-enabled Google Pixel 4a in the Indian market.
According to a tweet from Google, the newly announced smartphone will arrive on October 17 in the Indian region. The device will be made available for purchase on the Flipkart e-commerce site.
The company is yet to confirm the pricing but we can expect it to be priced under ₹35,000(~$478) considering the current competition in the market. Google launched the Pixel 3a for ₹40,000(~$544) last year and the 4a’s pricing could be below the predecessor’s price.
As far as specs are concerned, the Google Pixel 4a sports a 5.81-inch OLED panel with a Full-HD+ resolution. It is a punch-hole display with a standard 60hz refresh rate. It has a 12.2MP single front camera setup and an 8MP selfie camera setup. It packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 mid-range SoC and has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable storage. There is a 3,140mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging technology.
