Gionee was said to launch a new entry-level smartphone in the Indian market and it later confirmed that the device named Gionee Max is launching on August 25. Now ahead of its unveiling, some of its specs have been teased by Flipkart portal revealing its design, battery, and configuration.
The Gionee Max will come with a 6.1-inch tear-drop notch display with an HD+ resolution. It will be a 2.5D curved panel with overall thin bezels except for the bottom chin. The smartphone seems to be made out of plastic but there is nothing to confirm as of now.
There will be dual cameras at the rear and a single front camera for selfies. The rear camera will be placed vertically at the top. It also seems to have a LED flash below the sensors. We also get to see the speaker at the rear bottom beside the Gionee branding.
It will draw juice from the big 5,000mAh battery and it will probably be one of its major selling points. The battery will be boosted by a 10W charging speed and the adapter is expected to be bundled with the device. There are no details on the chipset inside but it will be paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB on internal storage.
The Gionee Max is expected to launch under ₹6,000(~$80) in different color options.
