Chinese manufacturer Cubot is gearing up for a smartphone launch next week just a few weeks after the launch of its Cubot P40 budget smartphone. Cubot has scheduled a launch for its Cubot X30 smartphone which will be a specced out model with highlighting features such as 48MP Penta-camera array, hole-punch display, and up to 256GB of onboard storage.
The Cubot X30 will debut on July 10 in home-town China available via online stores in the country. It will come in two color variants – Blue and Green. One of the noteworthy things on the teaser poster was free smartphones. Cubot is offering 10 free devices to limited users via its official website and AliExpress.
Cubot X30 Smartphone Specifications
Cubot X30 smartphone will sport a 6.4-inch display with an FHD+ resolution. It will be a hole-punch display with narrow bezels and a bright screen. In terms of the optics, the smartphone is confirmed to feature a Penta-lens camera consisting of a 48MP primary lens, 16MP wide-angle lens, a third macro lens, and two different units. The cameras will be placed in a vertical module that also has a single-tone LED flash. There will be a single front-facing camera for selfies.
The chipset is not yet confirmed but expects it to house a budget or mid-range octa-core SoC. It will come in two RAM and storage options. 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. It is not sure whether it will have a storage expansion slot.
Other than this, the smartphone is expected to equip a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and will run on Android 10 with some pre-installed apps. Cubot does not have any custom skin therefore it will be a clean stock Android experience.
