This year has been a year of 5G smartphones, especially in the Chinese market. Where global smartphone leaders are offering 5G smartphones at a premium price, Chinese manufacturers are propelling budget 5G devices. Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi, and Meizu are already there in the 5G-game and now CoolePad is all-set to launch its first 5G handset in the country. CoolPad has officially shared a teaser poster of its upcoming CoolPad X10 smartphone that is scheduled to launch on August 12 in China.
The teaser poster confirms the launch to be held at 3 PM China Time and interestingly the device will come with a local Chinese 5G chipset. The 5G chip will come from Unigroup Zhanrui and called Tiger Ben T7510. It will be a Unisoc chipset with a total of 8-cores in a combination with four A55 CPU cores and four A75 CPU cores. In terms of the graphics, there will be the PowerVR FM9446 graphics processing unit.
If we take about its 5G capabilities, the chipset will support speeds up to 2Gbps downlink and 1Gbps uplink. The smartphone will probably come with dual-SIM slots and a memory card slot. Some of the other specs of the smartphone are yet to be known but considering that the launch is just a day away, we don’t have to wait for long to learn its other internals.
