Asus Zenfone 7 is all set to go official on August 26 in its home-town Taiwan but ahead of its launch the smartphone’s design and in-box contents have been showcased.
Thanks to the images by leakster Abhishek Yadav, now we have a clear look at the rear panel of the flagship smartphone. The rear of the Zenfone 7 is similar to the predecessor Asus Zenfone 6. The major difference has to be the rear cameras, there is a triple camera array at the rear instead of the dual-rear camera setup as seen on the predecessor.
It is a horizontal flippable module with two cameras, then a LED flash and the third lens is placed just after the LED flash. At the bottom rear, there is the Asus branding placed vertically. The device seems to have a reflective Dark Blue color which is again similar to the old Zenfone 6.
Additionally, we also get to see the USB Type-C cable and the power adapter which is we expect to have some sort of fast charging technology. There is another image that showcases the backside of the phone’s box revealing key highlights of the smartphone.
The upcoming Asus Zenfone 7 has a 6.67-inch display with an FHD+ resolution. As seen in the image, there are three rear cameras and the box confirms its to be a 64-megapixel primary lens, 12-megapixel secondary camera, and an 8-megapixel tertiary lens. The primary sensor is a Sony IMX586 lens and the secondary camera is expected to be an ultra-wide lens.
It will draw power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 octa-core chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will be a 5G handset with both SIMs supporting 5G card. The box reveals it to have Black color but the actual device seems to be in Dark Blue finish.
That’s what we learn from the leak and with this, we just have to wait for the pricing and availability details as all the key specs are already here.
