The ASUS ROG Phone 3 is arguably one of the most hyped up of the upcoming gaming smartphone launches. Earlier today, ASUS went to Weibo to announce that the device is set to officially launch sometime next month.
To be more specific, both ASUS and Tencent Games uploaded a poster to Weibo, basically confirming the launch for next month. It’s going to be exciting to see the device launch, though it’ll be receiving some tough competition from the upcoming Lenovo Legion gaming phone.
The ASUS ROG Phone 3 features an 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. It’s hinted that it may support up to 144Hz refresh rate, and we’ve heard rumours that there will be an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It will run on Android 10, with ASUS’ ROG UI on top.
It’s currently billed to be the first smartphone with the unannounced Snapdragon 865+ chipset, and this will allegedly be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It will also feature a 6,000mAh battery, probably with at least 30W fast charging.
