Just Yesterday, we saw the Asus ROG Phone 3 on the ECC certification that revealed some hardware details of the smartphone. Today, the gaming smartphone seems to have appeared on the Chinese 3C Certifications that reveals some battery and charging details of the device.
Earlier, we learned that the device will arrive in a bigger battery cell fueling the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC on the smartphone. Now, the 3C listing reveals the 30W fast charging support. The TUV Rheinland certification also suggested the 30W charging and with the following certification, it reaffirms it.
To recall, the Asus ROG Phone 2 came with a monster 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Well, the battery was bonkers but the charging speed for that kind off a battery was underwhelming. With ROG Phone 3, Asus seems to tackle the issue with 30W fast charging speeds.
Other than this, the Asus ROG phone 3 was spotted on Geekbench recently that revealed the flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC and a base 8GB of RAM. Another variant of the smartphone was benchmarked with 12GB of RAM which would probably be the top variant of the gaming smartphone.
Aside from that, the gaming smartphone was touted to arrive in the second quarter of this year, and considering all the certifications it has passed, we expect the launch to be in a couple of weeks.
