Asu ROG Phone 3 is scheduled to launch on July 22 in two of its major markets India and China. The smartphone’s specs were teased but didn’t give many highlights about its internals. We also learned plenty of other details that revealed the chipset, screen, and most of its key specs. Now, the gaming smartphone has passed by Taiwan’s NCC certification shedding some light on the rest of its specs.
Just like every other certification, the NCC certification also has the device with model number ASUS_I003D. We learn that the phone will house a 6,000mAh battery instead of the said 5,800mAh. It will come with a 30W fast charging adapter for quickly juicing up the battery cell.
The listing also confirms a 512GB storage variant and we expect it will be the top variant and with 12GB RAM. Other than this, there is nothing else to look for. The rest of its specs are pretty much confirmed, thanks to several certifications.
The smartphone will come with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a FullHD+ resolution. It will have the modern aspect ratio but there will be some noticeable bezels just like its predecessor ROG Phone 2.
Under the hood, it will power the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC bundled with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. As we learned just now, there will be a 6,000mAh battery and it will run on the latest Android 10 out of the box.
In terms of the optics, there will be a 64-megapixel triple camera array at the rear and a single front-facing camera for selfies. Just like the predecessor, there will be the ROG logo backed up by RGB lighting.
