After copious leaks, Asus has now finally announced the launch date of its upcoming Asus ROG Phone 3. The gaming smartphone was tipped to arrive in the month of July considering the ROG Phone 2 launch that held in July last year. Seems like the speculations and rumors were legit as Asus itself has confirmed a July launch.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 will debut next month but the company hasn’t revealed the exact launch date. The teaser poster shared by Asus just reveals the launch month and its partnership with Tencent Games.
Just like last year, Asus is again partnering with Tencent Games to bring enhanced gaming support for the ROG Phone 3. The teaser poster flaunts the ROG logo screaming the Reddish accents.
Asus ROG Phone 3 Specifications
About the specifications, Asus hasn’t revealed anything yet, but we do know some of its details. Thanks to its previous listings, we know that the gaming phone will come with whopping 16GB of RAM. This is an upgrade from the ROG Phone 2’s 12GB max RAM variant.
It is expected to be piled up with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset. Though the 16GB RAM will be the top variant it will actually start from a base 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage variant. It will be fueled by a 6,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
Aside from this, the other specifications of the smartphone will also be quite good. It is rumored to feature a 64MP triple rear camera setup and a 13MP single-front camera setup. It will sport a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a whopping 144Hz refresh rate panel. It is expected to come with an under-display Fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock for security.
