Asus made its much-awaited gaming smartphone dubbed the ROG Phone 3 available in the American market on Oct. 5, and you can get your hands on one from Amazon, B&H, as well as the company’s official online store for $999.99.
The recently unveiled device comes with a large 12GB of RAM and offers a hefty 512GB storage capacity. Those who fancy using a more power-packed model can go for the 16GB RAM variant that would set you back an additional $100.
In its press release, Asus stated the phone would be explicitly available in stock but neither Amazon nor B&H agrees with that at the moment. This is likely to take a few more days to settle.
Moreover, multiple accessories for the ROG Phone 3 gaming smartphone will be up for grabs in the U.S. soon. The ROG Kunai 3 gamepad retails for $149.99, the ROG Clip is $39.99, and the Lighting Armor case carries a $59.99 price tag. You’d need to shell out $329.99 to purchase the TwinView Dock 3.
The antibacterial screen protector retails for $36.99, the Mobile Desktop Dock is $229.99, and the Professional Dock will be available for $89.99.
The ROG Phone 3 packs a powerful octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor along with a highly competent Adreno 650 GPU under the hood. It sports a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with a high screen resolution of 1080×2340 pixels.
The phone runs Android 10 OS based on the company’s own ROG UI. The dual-SIM smartphone houses a triple camera setup including a 64MP main sensor, a 13MP 125-inch ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro sensor, Upfront, there’s a 24MP selfie camera for capturing self-portraits and video calling.
It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and draws its juices from a robust 6,000mAh battery that supports 30W HyperCharge fast charging. Furthermore, the phone has a 7-magnet stereo speaker, coupled with dual NXP TFA9874 smart amplifier and quad microphones that adopts Asus Noise Reduction Technology.
