The Amazfit Bip S debuted earlier this year at January’s Consumer Electronic Show, and since then we’ve been eagerly anticipating its launch in other countries. Well, here we are months later, and the smartwatch has finally seen an official launch on Indian shores.
Amazfit are moving pretty fast with this one too. It’s already set to go on sale starting noon today, and it’ll be available through online retailers Amazon.in, Flipkart, Myntra as well as the company’s official Indian website. It will also be available through retail stores like Croma, Reliance Digital and Poorvika Mobiles.

For a quick spec refresher in case you’ve forgotten, the Amazfit Bip S has a 1.28-inch transflective always-on colour touch display with a 176 x 176 resolution. It runs the company’s own Amazfit OS, and is compatible with devices running either Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0 and above.

It’s a fully fledged smartwatch, so of course it comes with all the standard fitness and smartwatch features. It comes with 2 editable watch faces, and 40 more available from their watch face store. The Bip S also supports 10 sports modes for tracking your exercise, and is water-resistant to up to 5ATM.
Outside of those, we also have typical smartwatch features a built-in GPS, notifications, sleep tracking, weather forecast, and music control. Keeping everything running is a 200mAh battery, which will allegedly last up to 15 days of typical usage and 40 days of basic usage
The Amazfit Bip S is priced at INR4,999 ($65), and comes in four different colour options, those being Red Orange, Warm Pink, White Rock, and Carbon Black. For more news on upcoming Amazfit launches, stay tuned here on Giztop.com.
